Description

Piendamo Red Bourbon is a single-origin filter coffee sourced from Wilton Benitez’s farm in Cauca, southern Colombia. The cherries undergo a meticulous 36-hour fermentation before being depulped, washed and dried at Benitez’s facility near Piendamo. This washed process, guided by scientific precision, yields a cup with distinctive notes of cola lollies, raspberry, bergamot and lemon.

The Cauca region’s stable growing conditions and high altitude (1700–2100m) create ideal circumstances for developing complex flavours in the Red Bourbon varietal. Benitez, a former chemical engineer, applies rigorous methodology to each batch, resulting in a consistently refined coffee.

Brew this as a filter coffee to highlight its bright acidity and layered fruit notes. Pairs well with citrus-forward pastries or consumed on its own as a morning pour-over.
